A Night of Elegance and Talent: Highlights from the Mr. and Ms. SBAA Pageant

The School of Business Administration and Accountancy (SBAA) lit up the UB Gymnasium on October 3, 2024  with the dazzling Mr. and Ms. SBAA Pageant, an event that celebrated the confidence, intelligence, and talents of its students. The afternoon was filled with glamour, excitement, and unwavering school spirit, leaving attendees buzzing with pride.

From the moment the contestants stepped onto the stage during the opening number, the energy in the room was electric. Representing their respective programs, the participants showcased their unique personalities and determination to win the coveted titles of Mr. and Ms. SBAA.

The audience roared with cheers and applause as the contestants confidently walked the runway during the casual wear, creative-executive realness wear, sports wear and evening wear rounds. Each outfit reflected their individuality, with every step a testament to their hard work and preparation for the event.

The audience responded with loud applause and cheers, a clear sign of appreciation for the effort and dedication the contestants put into their craft.

The question-and-answer portion was where the finalists truly shone. Contestants answered thoughtful questions about societal challenges. Their answers revealed not only their intelligence but also their ability to stay composed under pressure—qualities of a true SBAA Executive.

After a night filled with breathtaking moments, Riann Josh Juan was crowned Mr. SBAA and Ancris Joy Mabanglo took home the title of Ms. SBAA. Both winners captivated the judges with their charm, confidence, and authenticity throughout the competition.

The runners-up  also earned admiration from the audience for their strong performances and undeniable charisma.

For many, the Mr. and Ms. SBAA Pageant was about more than just winning titles. It was an opportunity to celebrate camaraderie, embrace self-expression, and inspire their peers.

The night ended with a round of applause not just for the winners, but for all the contestants who took part in this unforgettable event.

As the lights dimmed and the crowd dispersed, one thing was clear: the Mr. and Ms. SBAA Pageant wasn’t just a competition—it was a celebration of excellence, determination, and the incredible spirit of SBAA.
