The Season of Giving: The University of Baguio Gives Year-End Goodies to Its Employees

Other Posts

December is usually a month-long celebration of the season of giving, beginning with Christmas as the year draws to a close with the new year. It also relates to the giving spirit along with it. Employers take this chance to reward their employees for a year of excellent work fostering close relationships with staff members by sharing and becoming a part of the University. The University of Baguio (UB) introduced De Minimis Benefits, providing groceries and rice to its staff. UB truly cares for and values its employees.

On November 30, 2023, teaching employees were the first to avail their groceries and rice.

On December 1 and 7, 2023, respectively, non-teaching employees and retirees, also received their groceries and rice.

Providing Christmas goodies to employees fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment, contributing to the fulfillment of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN-SDG) 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by enhancing employee well-being and promoting sustainable economic development within UB.
