UB CARES for the Environment

Take a look: UB Staff go tree planting

At least 70 participants joined the tree planting program through UB CARES on October 2022. The participants include employees, students, and alumni of School of Engineering and Architecture and School of Information and Technology.

They planted 160 Pine tree saplings. The seedlings used that day were provided by the Baguio Water District and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)-Baguio. The tree planting activity is part of the environmental protection program aimed at preserving the natural resources “for a better tomorrow.”

The tree planting activity has contributed to the attainment of University’s objective of advocating sustainable programs for the community and the environment.
