The complex world of legal jargon and rules felt a little less threatening to the School of Business Administration and Accountancy students of the University of Baguio last February 21, 2026. The academic seminar on the topic of corporate law was held at the RCB Dome, titled “Is this Corporate Law? Don’t Panic with Atty. Andrix,” which served as a masterclass on how to simplify hard subjects, with Atty. Andrix Domingo, CPA, MBA, a famous RFBT reviewer and author, led this seminar. He provided real-life cases and tips that could be helpful to everyone, as the law is not created to confuse people but to help.

During a session that felt more like a practical tour and had tons of relatable applications, Atty. Domingo was able to turn an otherwise heavy subject into an easy roadmap to follow for the future professionals. The seminar addressed the philosophy that the law is a problem-solving tool rather than an issue-creating one, helping the students to take up their course with renewed confidence in their studies.
This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, by bringing in an industry expert, the institution ensures that learning is not just by reading textbooks, but because it has an expert to enlighten the students. It is all about providing students with the right skills and the self-assurance they need to achieve success in the actual world. Such education is integrative and efficient, and it prepares all people for the demands of the professional world.

The University of Baguio, through such programs, is still demonstrating that education is an effective means of growth, and this is a good example for other schools to ensure that none of the students feel overwhelmed by the studies.
