Dona Nicasia J. Puyat Elementary School, Baguio City – In a bid to nurture young leaders and mold the future of our society, a leadership training program was conducted at Dona Nicasia J. Puyat Elementary School, organized by UBLES Outreach. The event, which took place on October 16, 2023, saw the participation of the school’s Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) officers and classroom officers, and featured an enlightening session led by Ms. Kristina Valdez.

The Leadership Training, a collaborative effort between UBLES Outreach and Dona Nicasia J. Puyat Elementary School, aimed to empower the young leaders of tomorrow, nurturing their skills and abilities. The event featured a variety of engaging activities, lessons, and talks, all geared toward building leadership qualities and fostering positive changes in the students. One of the highlights of the day was the talk delivered by the renowned Ms. Kristina Valdez. A seasoned leader and motivational speaker, Ms. Valdez shared her insights and experiences, inspiring the young minds present to strive for greatness and make a positive impact in their communities.

The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of several individuals, including the UBLES SPG Officers, Activity Coordinator, UBLES Faculty and Staff, and Alumni. Their support and guidance helped ensure the success of the program. Furthermore, Teacher Dexter, Teacher Jep, and Teacher Lailanie, who are all BEED student observers from the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts at UBLES, played a crucial role in the processing of group activities. Their active involvement and mentorship were instrumental in the smooth execution of the program.

The Leadership Training was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the young participants. It not only equipped them with essential leadership skills but also ignited a passion for positive change and community service.
