Six University of Baguio SNS student researchers participated in poster and oral presentation organized by the Cordillera Regional Health Research and Development Consortium (CRHRDC) at Saint Louis University Maryheights Campus last June 15, 2023. This event is part of the 11th Regional Health Research Conference.
Participants of the poster presentation include: The Neck Posture Practices Among University of Baguio BSPT and BSMLS Students During Distance Learning, Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change and Motivational Profiles Among University of Baguio Students Using Fitness Applications, and Exacerbated Muscoloskeletal Chronic Symptoms in the Upper Body due to Online Learning Set-up. These were presented by Hazel Mang-osan, Alfonso Addison Kalang-ad, and Rana Jerri Celino.
Other research works that were included in the oral presentation were: Effects of Recreational Cycling on Low Back Pain Among College Students of the University of Baguio, Effect of Apium Graveolens Stalk Extract on the Phagocytosis of Candida Albicans by Polymorphonuclear Cells In Vitro, and Knowledge, Attitude and Practices of Baguio City Plant Enthusiasts Regarding Soil-Transmitted Helminths Infection. The student researchers who presented these studies were Gene Zionore Baysa-Pee, Job Mathew Abasola, and Kathleen Dela Pena.
