The University of Baguio – School of Business Administration and Accountancy (SBAA) Student Body for A.Y. 2025–2026 successfully carried out its first distribution of Exam Essential Kits last September 15 and 16, 2025, in time for the preliminary examinations.
The distribution was organized by the SBAA Student Body 2025–2026, with officers personally preparing and handing out the kits. They were supported by their SB Adviser, Mr. Jomar P. Padduyao, and SBAA Dean, Dr. John V. Balanquit, demonstrating their dedication to student welfare and community support.

A total of 100 kits were prepared and handed out to SBAA students to assist them in their preliminary examinations. Each kit contained a black pen, a marker, and 10 pieces of paper—simple yet practical tools that every Business Administration and Accountancy student can rely on during exams. While modest in size, the initiative reflects the Student Body’s dedication to ensuring that students are supported with the essentials they need. “It may not be much, but we wanted to provide the things that matter most during exams,” shared the officers.

This activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable access to learning opportunities. By distributing exam kits, the SBAA Student Body promoted fairness and inclusivity, ensuring that all students had equal access to essential learning tools during examination.
Immediately, the project helped 100 SBAA students feel more prepared for their preliminary exams. Beyond the prelims, the Student Body announced that larger and more comprehensive kit distributions are being planned for the midterm and final examinations, reflecting their long-term commitment to supporting students throughout the academic year.
More than the pens, markers, and papers, the Exam Essential Kits symbolized the spirit of student leadership—service, solidarity, and care for the SBAA community. It served as a reminder that even small acts can make a meaningful difference in students’ academic journeys.
