The University of Baguio (UB) blooms in love in the city where it is planted, as UB Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and various student-volunteers celebrated the 30th Anniversary of Panagbenga by giving back to the Baguio community, offering various services and interactive activities during the Handog ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio, held on February 14, 2026, at the Melvin Jones Football Grounds.
Free goods, services, and performances include: legal assistance by the School of Law (SL), serving and giving of brewed coffee and goodie bags by OSA, acoustic band performances by the Plug and Play, and cultural showcases by the University of Baguio Bibak Ubbun Kaafuan (UBBUK) Cultural Group.

More so, the Supreme Student Council had a fun interaction with more than 400 individuals for their pot painting, while the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) had its coloring session with around 50 to 80 kids. The School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) had more than 90 individuals who had their faces painted.

343 smiles and wacky portraits were also captured by the School of Information Technology (SIT) in their photo booth set-up. Health consultation, blood sampling, posture check, and dental consultation were provided by the School of Dentistry (SD), School of Natural Sciences (SNS), and School of Nursing (SN), with over 500 clients serviced.

Meanwhile, interns from the School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety (SCJPS) maintained safety and security, invited people to the booth, and assisted in the pre- and post-happenings from the booth preparation until its load out.

UB has since then partnered with the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. in providing services to the residents and families in Baguio City, advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through accessible community programming, particularly:
- SDG 1 (No Poverty) by providing essential services to underprivileged members of the community,
- SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) in the distribution of free coffee and food items to attendees,
- SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) through the services provided by the Allied Medical Science (AMS) students,
- SDG 4 (Quality Education) by allowing the students to continuously apply their knowledge in practical settings,
- SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) in contributing to events and activities that continue to support the different members of the community through different industry sectors,
- SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by encouraging students to make use of materials that impact the environment as little as possible,
- SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by nurturing a close-knit community where resources and services are easily accessible and readily shared, and
- SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through the university’s collaboration with the city in this joint venture.
