UB STELA Holds its First Tripartite Assembly

On July 24, 2023, the School of Teacher Education held its first TRIPATITE MEETING in the centennial hall. This event was participated by selected faculty members, invited partner agencies, alumni, parents, and students, with its theme: theme “Synergizing Stakeholders: Shaping the Future Together”.

This assembly aims to strengthen the ties between parents, instructors, alumni, partner industries, and students.

The Bachelor of Arts in Communication (BA Comm), the Bachelor of Arts in English (BA Eng), the Bachelor of Arts in Music (BAM), the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (BA PolSci), the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd), the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd), and the Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BS Psych) are the participating programs during the round table meeting.


Spearheaded by the chairpersons of the STELA programs, each program’s educational objectives and program outcomes were presented and the participants carefully studied and evaluated the documents.

The participants from each program offered insightful feedback on the PEOs and POs that helped to highlight areas of strength and growth. Expectations for graduates in terms of the knowledge, abilities, and attitudes required to fulfill the changing demands of the market and society were also discussed.  

The teachers also shared their effective teaching strategies, cutting-edge pedagogies, teaching methodologies, and approaches that resulted in successful student outcomes in previous academic years.

The alumni also shared their insights and expectations regarding the competencies and qualities sought in graduates. To enhance teaching efficacy and student learning experiences, strategies for ongoing assessment and feedback mechanisms were considered.

Empowering Communities Through Technical Skills 2025: Hands-On Troubleshooting Workshop Uplifts Pinsao Community

In a remarkable display of community engagement, students and faculty from the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) of University of Baguio gathered in Pinsao Proper Barangay for a hands-on basic troubleshooting outreach. The event, held under the institution’s Extension and Community Outreach Services, aimed to equip residents with fundamental skills in electrical and technical troubleshooting.
