UBLES Non-Teaching Staff and Administration Welcomes Young UBians for School Year 2025-2026

On August 5, 2025, the Center for Counseling and Student Development (CCSD) Office of UBLES spearheaded a Roblox-themed welcoming activity for the new school year in collaboration with the institution’s dedicated non-teaching staff. This creative event was designed for student engagement in a fun, interactive way while fostering a sense of belonging and community from the first day of classes. With bright smiles and enthusiastic participation, pupils participated in an emotional expression activity by selecting a fruit that best represented their feelings on the first day of school. These symbolic fruits were then added to the UBian Tree, a visual representation of growth, well-being, hope, and shared aspirations within the school community.

The following day, August 6, 2025, UBLES continued its student orientation program with activities presented by the student support offices. With the partnership of the UBLES administration and non-teaching staff, the orientation introduced the rules, processes, and services available in the various offices to pupils. Essential tips for the academic year were also shared, highlighting perseverance, academic excellence, and the importance of active participation in the anti-bullying campaign, thereby fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment that sets a strong foundation for student success.

These back-to-school activities reflect UBLES’ commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – By prioritizing the emotional and psychological needs of pupils, UBLES fosters an environment where students feel heard, supported, and valued. The creative fruit-selection activity allowed children to express emotions openly, reinforcing the importance of mental and emotional well-being from the very first day of school. Furthermore, the anti-bullying campaign promotes safety, respect, and kindness, which are essential in safeguarding both the physical and mental health of students. Together, these initiatives underscore the belief that a healthy learning environment begins with the well-being of every learner.
  • SDG 4: Quality Education – By providing structured orientation activities that introduce students to school services, rules, and expectations, UBLES ensures that each pupil begins the year with clarity, guidance, and encouragement. The emphasis on perseverance and academic excellence equips students with the right mindset and values to thrive academically. Beyond academics, the orientation also highlighted essential life skills such as responsibility, respect, and inclusion—integral components of holistic, quality education.

With renewed optimism, young UBLES pupils are ready to embrace a year of learning, growth, and meaningful experiences, proving once again that a strong start sets the tone for a successful school year.
