The University of Baguio’s School of Information Technology (SIT) proudly presented their Day and Night themed Journey to Wanderlust where the school embraced the enchanting realms of fairies and forests.

Held on October 16, 2025, the event took place at the UB Cardinals’ Gym from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Simultaneously, the SIT Student Entrepreneurs showcased their businesses at UB Campo Manes, offering students a platform to explore entrepreneurship alongside the festivities. The Day and Night celebration featured several exciting competitions including Got Talent, Costume Runway , Mini-games – where students and SIT faculty members were chosen randomly to participate – and the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. SIT.

The event strongly contributed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs), namely the SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Schools are
micro-communities that mirror larger societies. Events like Day and Night contribute to the creation of a safe, fun-loving, and inclusive campus culture. The event promotes interpersonal relationships, mutual respect, and community engagement among students in the school. Furthermore, it also connects to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth through the Student Entrepreneur booths that promote innovation and small-scale business development by encouraging entrepreneurship and showcasing creative business ideas.
