The SBAA Welcome Fair 2025 was a resounding success, bringing excitement and joy to the SBAA community last August 11 and 12. The event welcomed students for the academic year 2025-2026, creating a lively atmosphere filled with fun, connection, and school spirit.
From the moment students arrived, they were greeted by a lively scene where various student organizations had set up their booths and stations. Student Organizations such as Junior Association of Marketing Executives (JAME), Junior Financial Executives – UB Chapter (JFINEX), Junior Executive Circle (JEC) and Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) offered engaging games that not only to entertained but also gave students the chance to win exciting prizes. The student organizations proudly showcased their merchandise and gave out free bookmarks and stickers to the students.
The SBAA Student Body station was a hub of activity, featuring exclusive SBAA merchandise and polo shirts that students eagerly explored. The Student Body generously distributed free stickers, bookmarks, and candies, spreading smiles throughout the crowd. One of the most thrilling highlights of the fair was the egg hunt organized by the SBAA Student Body. Hidden throughout the venue were eggs containing a variety of prizes, including cash rewards, UB tumblers, school supplies, SBAA Intramural pin merchandise, and candies. This surprise element added an extra layer of excitement and engagement, encouraging students to explore and interact with the event fully.
Beyond the fun and festivities, the SBAA Welcome Fair also reflects the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By providing students with opportunities to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit through merchandise, creative services, and interactive activities, the fair fostered practical experiences in economic participation. It also highlighted the importance of innovation, teamwork, and responsible resource use—skills that will help students contribute to sustainable growth both within the university and beyond.
Overall, the SBAA Welcome Fair 2025 was more than just an event—it was a celebration of community, friendship, and the start of a promising academic year. The happiness and enjoyment shared among students and organizers alike set a positive tone for the months ahead, making it a memorable kickoff for the SBAA family.
