In a celebration marked by pride, gratitude, and unity, the University of Baguio School of Engineering and Architecture (UB SEA) held its annual Tribute to Graduates and Testimonial Dinner at the Hotel Supreme on May 31, 2025. The event brought together graduating students, faculty members and staff, and alumni in an evening that honored the hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments of this year’s graduating class.

This tradition is more than just a send-off—it is a reflection of the UBIAN culture, which upholds excellence, resilience, and a strong sense of community. True to the spirit of being a “UBIAN,” the graduates were recognized not only for their academic achievements but also for their character, leadership, and commitment to service, embodying the values taught throughout their stay at the University of Baguio.
The evening began with a solemn thanksgiving and recognition ceremony, where the dean shared words of encouragement and heartfelt messages of support. Inspiring testimonials from licensed graduates highlighted the real-world impact of a UB SEA education. As part of the event, graduates shared their experiences and practices when they were still reviewing for their licensure examinations.
The dean of the School of Engineering and Architecture commended the graduates, stating, “You have carried the legacy of being UBIANs—dynamic, resourceful, and socially responsible. You are now ready to transform communities, design sustainable futures, and lead with compassion.”
The event was also a celebration of unity and gratitude. Graduates expressed how UB SEA had become a second home where they were molded both professionally and personally. A dinner banquet followed, filled with laughter, music, and moments of reflection on the journey that brought them to this milestone.
As the evening closed, the graduating students left the hall not only with certificates and tokens but with renewed pride in their identity as UBIANs—ready to bring honor to their alma mater in their next chapters as licensed engineers, architects, and innovators.
