BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – In a heartwarming display of generosity and nostalgia, alumni of the University of Baguio Laboratory Elementary School (UBLES) returned to their roots, eager to make a difference. On March 22, 2025, they came together to lead the Barangay Pagbasa Program, a meaningful initiative aimed at sparking a love for reading among the children of Salud Mitra. Their dedication to giving back to the community and uplifting the next generation through literacy was evident in every shared story and smiling face.
The Barangay Pagbasa Program was more than just a literacy drive—it was a gathering of students, teachers, and community members united by a common goal: to create a culture of reading and lifelong learning.
