University of Baguio School of Nursing “Balik-Tanaw” is done every year by the school of nursing to give inspiration to students to pursue their chosen path of becoming nurses in the future, the activity shares with students the past and present experiences of UBSN graduates from being a student nurse to becoming a registered nurse with their chosen field of nursing profession. This helps in student development as they listen and become motivated with the learning that they would gather during the activity.

Thus, Balik-Tanaw would like to give emphasis on the University of Baguio’s UBIAN GRADUATE ATTRIBUTES and live the culture of being grateful and service-driven individuals while promoting the sense of belongingness, camaraderie, pride, and loyalty to the school through testimonials and sharing regarding their experiences during their college days that helped them become the person of who they are now. Finally, this activity helps in STUDENT DEVELOPMENT of becoming globally competitive, rendering quality service to clientele.
The first speaker is Ms. Gianne Edolieston E. Janiola, an alumna of the school who graduated in 2007, a registered nurse with a Master’s degree in nursing. At present, he is a community health advocate and a school nurse, exploring the community and learning to grow further.
On the other hand, the activity was hosted by an alumna batch 2022 where Mr. Raymond Esguerra is partnered with a faculty member, ma’am Eileen Marcelino. The technical working committee also was headed by another alumna, Mr. Clarence Ladyong together with Faculty-Alumna, Ms. Romela Indelible and a faculty member, Ma’am Kate Banwa. Other Alumni of the school also served as the working committee of the event.
Hence, the activity collaborated with the Student Body for student participation as they listened, learned, got motivated, and were inspired by the sharing of the Alumni-speakers. It also collaborated with the SN-Red Cross Youth who served as the standby first Aiders, making sure that each and every participant was well and healthy while enjoying the momentous event. Other offices such as the general services office and the security office were also present during the event.
