On July 8, 2024, the University of Baguio – School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety hosted a highly insightful webinar titled “Mastering Forensic Ballistics: Advanced Techniques and Applications” as part of its Center of Excellence Project. The session presented the latest advancements and practical applications in forensic ballistics.
The webinar aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of advanced forensic ballistics techniques, demonstrate their practical applications in criminal investigations and explore how these techniques integrate with other forensic disciplines. The event attracted a diverse audience, including PNP officers, BJMP officers, BFP officers from the Cordillera Administrative Region, and teachers and students from private HEIs and SUCs offering Criminal Justice Education Programs across the Philippines.
The webinar was offered free of charge as part of the University of Baguio’s Criminology Center of Excellence Project, reflecting the institution’s commitment to advancing knowledge, promoting strong institutions that support the peace and order of communities, and providing valuable insights into forensic science.
