Last March 11, 2022, the University of Baguio, Extension and Community Outreach Services through the concerted efforts of SBAA, SEA, SIT, SN, SNS, and Laboratory Elementary School have generously extended help to the pupils of Tapsan Elementary School located at Barangay Saes, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet.

The Library Department likewise gave out books in order to enrich the learning materials of the school for the pupils to utilize as well.

Through a simple informal meeting, the school ECOS coordinators and representatives met up with the youth members of Circle of Hope, a cause-oriented group from Itogon Benguet for the turn-over of hygiene kits, school supplies and books.

This meaningful event would not have been possible without the initiative of the group of young professionals, some of whom are alumni of the university, who sought assistance from UB  on behalf of the pupils of the elementary school.

Indeed, this is again a testimony of the University of Baguio’s objective to advocate sustainable programs for the community and the environment by supporting the cause of its graduates.
