The University of Baguio (UB) acknowledged its partnership with Grand Hyatt Hong Kong (GHHK) for supporting and contributing to the University’s continuous pursuit of excellence, particularly for the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (SIHTM) students.

During a monitoring visit by SIHTM Dean Ms. Jenelyn Mangangey-Magpatoc alongside a faculty member, a plaque of appreciation was personally presented to Mr. Kenneth Si, the Learning Manager at GHHK.

As the only partner Higher Education Institution of GHHK in the Philippines, seventeen (17) UB-SIHTM students who are the only Filipino interns in the establishment, are presently undergoing their internship following the intensive selection process. GHHK establishes standards in global academic mobility through training in different departments like bell service, kitchen, and food and beverage. The student interns should finish their Student Internship Abroad Program by September this year.

SIHTM students embarked on their internship at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong last March 2024.

Driven by the mission of educating individuals to be empowered professionals in a global community, UB is committed to strengthening its partnerships with international companies and organizations.
