The South East Asia Association of Dental Education (SEAADE) is an organization composed of dental educators, students, and practitioners across Southeast Asia. Now in its 36th year, SEAADE held its annual scientific conference in the pristine and vibrant city of Taipei, Taiwan. The three-day event took place from November 7 to 9, 2025.
During the opening ceremony, SEAADE President Assoc. Prof. Waranuch Pitiphat from Khon Kaen University in Thailand, together with Taiwan’s Minister of Health and Welfare, Shih Chung-liang, warmly welcomed delegates from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Cambodia, Japan, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, and, for the first time, Great Britain. Their messages highlighted the importance of oral health and underscored the need to elevate dental education across the region to further strengthen the competencies of learners and practitioners. Assoc. Prof. Pitiphat also reiterated SEAADE’s Vision, Mission, and Strategic Focuses.
