The University of Baguio (UB), through its Linkages Office, hosted representatives from Zhongke Bole Inc. for an exploratory meeting on January 7 at the MCR. The discussion focused on enhancing partnerships with Linyi University and Jining Polytechnic University, with an emphasis on student exchange programs and further collaboration.
Zhongke Bole, a Baguio-based establishment that primarily accommodates Chinese nationals, has been instrumental in bridging connections between UB and its Chinese academic partners. The incorporation has been significant in hosting Chinese exchange students studying at UB, providing a foundation for these academic collaborations.

Last September, Linyi University and Jining Polytechnic sent 21 students and three faculty members to UB for a three-month English proficiency program. This year, UB is set to reciprocate by sending 12 students to China—three to Linyi University and nine to Jining Polytechnic.
Discussions during the meeting also tackled essential arrangements for the UB students’ three-month stay in China, including academic setups, accommodations, and logistical needs, ensuring a seamless experience.
This collaboration highlights UB’s commitment to fostering international partnerships while contributing to SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, promoting global learning opportunities.
