The award-winning choral group brought pride to the institution after receiving the Bronze Diploma under the Children’s Choir Category at the Sing Tarlac Sing 2025 held last May 16–18, 2025, in Tarlac City, under the guidance of their conductor/trainer, Sir Kevin Liban.

During the visit, the UBLES Small Voices gave a stirring performance of the Fight Song and the sacred choral piece Cantate Domino, capturing the spirit and discipline that led them to national acclaim. The UB President warmly congratulated the group, recognizing their talent, hard work, and dedication to excellence in the performing arts.

In a moment of inspiration for the young singers, the UB President proudly announced that UBLES Small Voices has been invited to participate in the prestigious Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival under the Children’s Choir Category. The event, organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, will be held at the CCP in Manila, where the group will share the stage with other exceptional choirs from around the world.

This recognition highlights the group’s growing role as young ambassadors of music and culture for the City of Baguio and the University of Baguio community, fostering collaboration and shared cultural pride in line with Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strengthened ties between educational institutions, local communities, and cultural organizations. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our supportive principal, Dr. Julius T. Gat-eb, for his unwavering encouragement and moral guidance in the success of the choir, as well as to the sponsors from various local organizations for their generous support.
