PREPARATION OF BASIC DISASTER REPORT SEMINAR FOR OSHCOM COORDINATED BY THE RMO TO OCD-CAR

The speaker is Mr. Frankie Cortez from the Office of the Civil Defense-Cordillera

On July 14, 2025, the seminar was held at the Science High Extension to enhance the disaster response capabilities of UB OSHCOM Safety Officers. Also, this activity aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for accurate and effective disaster documentation. Proper reporting is vital for coordinating response efforts, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring the safety of lives and property during emergencies.

The seminar was attended by 22 participants from the OSH Committee and various staff members of the university. The speaker is Mr. Frankie Cortez, a seasoned expert from Civil Defense Cordillera, provided a comprehensive training on how to accurately document disaster impacts, response actions, and resource needs.
